After a barbecue lunch on Saturday, Hummer owners and their families enjoyed the amenities that Chalk Bluff has to offer. These include kayaking, tubing, puttputting, horseback riding, and lots more. Saturday evening saw the families roasting hotdogs and making smores. The evening rounded out with local storytellers entertaining around the campfire. After breakfast on Sunday morning, sixteen Hummers packed with excited families made their way to the Morani River Ranch across the Nueces River from Chalk Bluff Park. The ranch manager greeted the crowd with a tour of the ranch lodge and then a mini-safari across the property to see what wildlife could be spotted. The tour ended with a group photo (including Hummers) and Chalk Bluff as a backdrop. A good time was had by all!! Many thanks to long time customer David from Bert Ogden Hummer in Mission, Texas for recommending Chalk Bluff for this event. (Click an image to enlarge it.)
